On January 1st, 2021, Congress passed the 2021 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA),

which includes significant reforms to the United States Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regime. The NDAA

includes the Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2020 (AMLA) and within the AMLA, the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA).
