On March 5, 2021, John David McAfee, the antivirus software pioneer and Executive Adviser of his cryptocurrency team, was indicted in Manhattan Federal Court, New York for Fraud and Money Laundering Conspiracy Crimes stemming from two cryptocurrency schemes.
