News release: Arrests Made in Largest Human Trafficking Case in HRPS History

FINTRAC’s financial intelligence was recognized by the Halton Regional Police in relation to Project Troubadour, the largest human trafficking investigation case in the service’s history. As a result of the investigation, 9 individuals have been arrested and charged with 85 criminal offences, and 12 victims were identified.
